ENDORSEMENTS
My most cherished endorsement came from Stan Graham - Renaissance man and West Lake Hills City Councilmember Place 3 and Mayor Pro Tem (May 2009 until May 2017.) Stan passed from our world during August 2020 leaving an amazing legacy of care and diligent service to WLH.
Before lending me his blessing in 2017, Stan carefully interviewed me to be sure that my thoughts and ideals were in sync with his own. I miss his guidance and fabulous sense of humor and believe that he would approve the inclusion of his endorsement here.

“Having personal knowledge of Beth's vision for our city and having worked with her as a part-time council member, I am endorsing her for the WLH City Council/Place 3 position in our May election. Not only has she spent time on the council but is also a current, full-time ZAPCO member. At both positions, she has established a record which clearly indicates her belief and commitment in maintaining the concepts of our Master Plan created by the founders of our wonderful community. They are worth protecting and I believe she will continue to do so in a deliberate and thoughtful manner.”

Prior WLH City Councilman/Place 3
“I would like to endorse Beth South for The West Lake Hills City Council Place 3. At a time when so many changes are taking place such as the bond packages that were overwhelmingly approved by the voters last year, it is extremely important that the community be led by experienced and committed leaders to see these tasks through to their completion.
Beth South has been a key part of the team that has helped make this happen. A vote for Beth South is a vote for all of us in the community that want to see West Lake Hills continue to be the most beautiful place that we all appreciate.

“Our family has known Beth South since she attended Westlake High School with our three sons. She has proven to be a huge asset to our present City Council, a caring, listening representative. She knows our city and has all our best interests at heart. I urge you to get out and vote for her again. She does have an opponent so we need to get every vote out.!!!!

“My name is Marsha Jones and I have lived next door to Beth South for 31 years. She knows Westlake really well as she grew up here which gives her a unique perspective on our community. She is always willing to help others and has been instrumental in communicating with our neighborhood on issues which affect us. I don't know anyone more dedicated to preserving our special community. I endorse her without reservation in her run for re-election to the West Lake Hills City Council.
- Sincerely, Marsha Jones

“I met Beth South in my first grade class at Eanes Elementary, 1961. With such deep West Lake Hills roots, she is committed to preserving the unique character of our special city. As Travis County continues its exponential growth, Beth will be an open-minded advocate of careful planning and adherence to the spirit of the West Lake Hills master plan.
I hope you'll join me in supporting Beth South for WLH City Council, Place 3. I encourage you to vote early at Randalls, now through May 2nd or on Election Day, May 6th. Thanks for your consideration!”

“We are supporting Beth South for West Lake Hills City Council Place 3 because of her strong commitment to work with us, as citizens, to protect and preserve those qualities that make West Lake Hills a unique city within an ever-changing environment. We believe she will address issues that are important to our city in an efficient and timely manner, especially those regarding how to handle traffic, development, and safety. Her long time residency in West Lake Hills gives her an inherent knowledge and awareness of what makes our city a very special place to live. Please support Beth South.”
